Integrated Learning Therapy
ILT provides a neuropsychological framework and model to address learning and developmental complexities. Gentle Strengthening techniques are used to prevent overloading and overwhelming of the child’s nervous system.
Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy
Consideration is given to different modalities and tailored to harmonise with the client - taking into consideration the strengths that the client brings to the consultation room. Somatic Experiencing principles is explored and utilised in context with other therapeutic modalities.
Eye Movement Integration
EMI is a brief therapy with a specific intervention protocol. Eye movements are used to overcome traumatic experiences and integrate mind, body and soul. It assists to process unprocessed trauma memories that is stored in the body and memory. Therefore it decreases physical discomfort and emotional pain of trauma. EMI supports self healing.
Play Therapy focuses on younger children and is used diagnostically and therapeutically to address specific complexities of childhood. The focus area here is trauma , but not limited to trauma only.
Career Counselling (Narrative Approach)
This approach moves from the point of view that career choices are guided from identifying patterns and themes within the life story (Narrative) of the client. Choices may then be more meaningful and sustainable.
Interventions with children and Adolescents are linked with parental guidance to alleviate complexities optimally. Parents are key in addressing systemic issues contributing to such complexities
